Who we are

Three things hold us together.

We are not a perfect people, but we are a hopeful one. Our life as a church is shaped by Scripture, anchored in Christ, and lived out in community.

Scripture

The Bible is the word that called us into being and the standard by which we measure our living. We read it carefully, together, in Swahili and English.

Christ

We trust the death, resurrection and soon return of Jesus. Every Sabbath we rehearse this hope — and every other day we try to live by it.

Community

A church is a household. We share meals after worship, carry one another in prayer, and meet practical needs as they arise in Ngusero and beyond.

What’s ahead
